Monies raised from this event will be directed towards Project A.L.S. and the Kleiner Family Research Initiative which will focus intensively on two areas of therapeutic promise for ALS patients.

AMBLER, PA — A Date With A Plate is an organization comprised of a group of women who wish to devote their time and creative energy to raise funds that will benefit specific causes.

A Date With A Plate is a two-day event that celebrates exquisite table décor as interpreted and presented by professional event planners, florists, interior decorators and caterers, as well as individuals sharing their aesthetic passion through their personal collections or inspired entertaining style. The event features an evening Patrons’ Party and the next day’s Second Helping which includes fun and informative lectures. Both events feature either live and silent auction items or raffle opportunities. Funds are generated through admission/ticket sales, Ad Book solicitations and from proceeds of auction/raffle items.

X2 Payment System’s, Kelly Cusate, having already helped Committee Member Barbara Azarik’s husband with credit card processing, partnered with A Date With a Plate to allow for attendees and donors to give to the well-deserving, local charities they support. With the savings realized from X2’s industry-leading processing rates, Barb and Founders, Judi and Sharyn, along with the rest of the Committee can continue to ensure that the maximum amount of donations go to each year’s recipient.
